music slump, photography jump!

What's good robotnation it's time for post no.3! When I first created this blog, I wanted to have a lot of music stuff on here. sadly there is none to give right now. I'm so slumped in song writing and I am not satisfied with anything I write. I think having an audio interface would help SO MUCH but I don't have one. So. GoFundMe coming soon.

However, when one door closes another door opens! I have kind of been thriving photographically lately. Today it was 80 degrees (in April!) and I took my camera on a sweltering walk. Honestly I could probably write a song about that walk. It was quite rejuvenating. A lot of the pics need to be edited a little because of how sunny it was, but here are some raws that I like.

Today has been a really good day, even if I have mostly been by myself. Unusually warm days make me feel reborn. I tried a new hairstyle. I got soft serve ice cream. I called an old friend. I did pretty well on my SAT modules. And now I'm blogging (not giving up on this yet!)

I think I really want to take this blog seriously. I want to write articles and op-eds and stories and poems and songs and put them all here. This will be like the zine I never made. I am excited for what's to come in robotics club.

My final message of the evening is that my camcorder charger is arriving soon, so not only will I be showing photos but also videos. Here's one from my previous camcorder (which was destroyed in a hurricane) of the band Everyone Asked About You as St. Vitus:

 I'm still getting the hang of this website but I really like it. I looked at some old blogs (thanks bloghousearrest) for inspiration and wow.. blogs used to thrive. I feel like blogging is now a dead art that will honestly never be revived because no one feels like reading anything anymore. 

this blog hasn't blossomed yet but that's because I need to add all the pictures first. It is almost 1am and I spent a lot of time organizing this thing but its time to sleep. gn 🤖

I don't know what possessed me to make a blog at 6:55pm on a thursday but I did. I didn't realize how much work it would take to make it look pretty and I have to meet my friend for dinner in 35 minutes so i don't have time for that rn. hopefully i'll be posting my photography/music/thoughts here weekly or whatever u do with a blog.

I just wanted an internet archive for all this stuff.
